What are the critical questions about user-centric identity and data you hope to discuss with peers at IIW?
- Sovereign identity- blockchain ecosystem- indie web- intent casting
- Are we identity?
- privacy
- Does the Sovrin infrastructure provide a standardization of requesting data sufficient that a "Personal API" concept and implementation need only provide the claims definitions to the Sovrin ledger?
- my personal data my control, across my personas
- integration with the identity ecosystem
- I'm very interested in usability questions. If these systems are too complex to use and administer, they won't be adopted. Of course, individual institutions can create nice user experiences, but then, do those institutions become gatekeepers around managing identity?
- How is privacy protected with a public "blockchain" distributed ledger?
- The architecture that is the most equitable and secure for users maximizing their freedom of speech while giving content creators was of profiting from the content they produce.
- strong authentication
- Specs, prototypes, and development planning.
- What are the near-term steps we need to take toward self-sovereign identity?
- Identity as an Internet utility
- the topics I mention in my answer to the learning question. What does the market map look like? What solutions have been considered or are in the works to link multiple private chains? Certain there are others but that's all for now
- Models of digital identity, Technical implementations of decentralized identity systems, UX issues/solutions
- What are the traits of a trusted personal identity host?
- What self-sovereign use cases and levels of assurance will governments accept ?
- implications of improved internet identity for all areas of society
- Enhancing individual efficacy through default hybrid policy/technical structures
- how to we address the needs of SDG 16.9
- Identity in a multi-cloud environment
- Security on the web and protecting personal data
- Level of assurance, user visibility into data flow and consent (and revoking consent)
- How to balance high data encryption and good user experience.
- DID adoption
- How consumers can be empowered or empower themselves with respect to maintaining control of their data.
